NCT07146373 · RECRUITING

Effect of Inspiratory Muscle Training in Cognition

This trial is testing whether a breathing exercise program called Inspiratory Muscle Training, which strengthens the muscles you use to inhale, can improve cognitive and physical function in people with Mild Cognitive Impairment. Participants either follow the breathing program alongside a physical and cognitive program, or the physical and cognitive program alone. This is a Phase NA feasibility and pilot-style study, meaning researchers are still working out whether the approach is practical and shows early promise.
