NCT06753578 · RECRUITING

Effectiveness of an ACT-Based Cognitive Intervention on Quality of Life and Cognitive Function in Elderly Residents With MCI

This trial tests whether a structured psychological program called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or ACT, can improve quality of life and slow cognitive decline in older adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment living in long-term care facilities. ACT focuses on mental flexibility, values-based living, and coping skills. It is a Phase NA study, meaning it is evaluating real-world effectiveness rather than early safety or drug dosing.

You may qualify if

  • Residents aged 65 and older diagnosed with MCI, able to provide informed consent, and residing in participating long-term care facilities.

You're excluded if

  • Individuals with severe cognitive impairment, unstable medical conditions, or psychiatric diagnoses that would interfere with participation.

The sponsor's own eligibility wording, lightly reformatted. The study team makes the final eligibility decision — worth discussing with your doctor.
