NCT07340983 · RECRUITING

Effectiveness of the Safe Haven Application (App) Among Undergraduates

This trial is testing a smartphone app called Safe Haven that aims to support mental health in college students. Researchers want to know if daily mood tracking, weekly check-ins, and mental health education through the app reduce depression, anxiety, and stress better than standard campus care alone. It is a Phase NA randomized controlled trial — meaning it is evaluating real-world effectiveness rather than early safety or dose-finding.

You may qualify if

  • registered undergraduates aged 18-24 years
  • own a personal smart device (mobile phone or tablet)
  • ability to read Chinese
  • willingness to install the study app and complete the follow-up assessments.

You're excluded if

  • are on leave of absence or not officially enrolled during the study period
  • are participating in another mental health intervention program or using similar mental health apps.

The sponsor's own eligibility wording, lightly reformatted. The study team makes the final eligibility decision — worth discussing with your doctor.
