Deep Learning on Amyloid Positons Emission Tomography
This study tests whether an AI algorithm can clean up the image quality of amyloid PET brain scans taken with a lower radiation dose or shorter scan time. Researchers want to know if the AI-enhanced lower-dose images are just as accurate as standard full-dose scans. This is not a clinical trial of a drug or treatment — it is a diagnostic imaging study with no specified phase.
You may qualify if
- Patients with objective cognitive impairment,
- Referred to our department for a cerebral [¹⁸F]flutemetamol positron emission tomography scan between January 1, 2023 and July 1, 2025,
You're excluded if
- Patient have objected to the use of their data.
