NCT06927882 · NOT YET RECRUITING

Effects of Whole Body Vibration Therapy on Cognitive Function, Balance, and Quality of Life in Older Adults With Mild Cognitive Impairment

This trial is testing whether whole-body vibration therapy — standing on a gently vibrating platform for 25 minutes, three times a week — can improve memory and thinking, balance, and quality of life in older adults with mild cognitive impairment. It is a Phase NA trial, meaning it is a straightforward controlled experiment rather than a drug development phase. Researchers will compare the vibrating platform to a non-vibrating one and to standard care over 12 weeks.
