Minnesota Inclusive LTSS for LGBTQ Seniors
This trial tests two versions of a workforce training program for nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Minnesota. The goal is to teach staff how to provide more culturally responsive care to LGBTQ older adults living with Alzheimer's or related dementia. Researchers are comparing in-person training against an online version. This is a Phase NA study, meaning it is evaluating a care delivery approach, not a drug or medical device.
You may qualify if
- licensure in Minnesota to provide nursing and/or as a housing with services establishment
- Willingness to undertake a policy and environment review at baseline and 6 months later
- having at least 5 managers/ supervisors and 5 staff.
You're excluded if
- Participants who cannot speak and read English
